Founded in 1939, Little League is the world’s largest and most widely recognized youth sports organization, with more than 4,000 leagues in every U.S. state and more than 80 countries.
And now for the first time, children ages 5-12 throughout the greater New Orleans area have the same opportunity to enjoy high-level baseball development and competition.
We help young players to develop skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, while teaching strong baseball fundamentals. Our All-Star teams represent the Greater New Orleans and Jefferson Parish in district, state and regional tournaments, with the ultimate goal of reaching the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn.
We strive to make playing baseball and softball free for children in Orleans and Jefferson, but we need your help to make that happen. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we rely on sponsorships and donations to fund our mission.
GNO-JPRD Little League is 100% volunteer-run, and all of the money we receive goes toward equipment, uniforms, field rentals and maintenance, and other expenses and costs associated with conducting the league. But most of all, your contributions ensure playing opportunities for the city’s youth, regardless of the family’s circumstances.

WE ARE LOCAL– All of the children who play for GNO JPRD live in Orleans Parish, the West Bank of Jefferson Parish and parts of St. Bernard Parish.
WE ARE AFFORDABLE– Sponsorships start at just $150, though you can ask GNO JPRD about other ways you can help improve our program and facilities.
YOUR DONATIONS ARE TAX-DEDUCTABLE– GNO JPRD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Charitable or in-kind donations may be tax-deductible.
